Presenter - Margaret Fox

As a recent retiree, Margaret Fox was keen to find new roles and experiences. She currently volunteers at Perth Zoo as a guide or docent and enjoys sharing information and anecdotes with the visitors. 

Margaret has also returned to Tai Chi and has taken up watercolours and coloured pencil drawing. Presenting on 105.3FM provides an opportunity to learn radio presenting and share in an area she enjoys but of which she is not particularly knowledgeable.

While Hooked on Classicals has a classical theme, Margaret’s own music choices are broad ranging. 
She’s recently discovered Zydeco and is also renewing an earlier interest in classical music and the background stories of the music that she will be sharing with listeners. 

With Stephen, lovely husband of 40 plus years and their fur child Ollie, the now mostly obedient border collie, Margaret lives on a 5 acre bush block in Wooroloo. Margaret and Stephen choose travel over chooks and vegies in the backyard. 
Toodyay has been a favourite visiting spot for many years, particularly the Cola Café, so the opportunity to volunteer in the community is a bonus.
