Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 am

The program includes guests with a wide variety of skills and interests who share their knowledge with the community on topical subjects around the genres of environment, sustainability and gardening.

Guests and topics are interspersed with a few eclectic pieces of music.

Listeners can email or phone in their questions under any of these broad topics.

Presenter - Bethan Lloyd.

Bethan first came to Toodyay to work as the Landcare Coordinator for the Shire of Toodyay in 2000.

Her main interests are nature, environmental issues, sustainability, self sufficiency and of course horticulture.

An active member of Toodyay Friends of the River and Toodyay Naturalists Club, Bethan also stood as a shire councillor for east ward for eight years, and is currently on the Environmental Advisory and Toodyay Community Depot committees, along with being involved with trying to get a swimming pool for Toodyay.

She coordinates a seed group which runs the Toodyay tree and understorey scheme growing native plants for community groups and landholders within the shire. She is also on the management committee of the Australian Sandalwood network which supports growers of the native australian sandalwood (Santalum spicatum ).
